Did you know that vanilla comes from orchids? Justin Dunning knows! Based in Victoria, Justin is a noted botanist and horticulturalist, with  a lifelong passion for plants. "The Genus Vanilla" will be the subject of his presentation at our October meeting. His talk will explore the rich history of Vanilla cultivation, and will touch on the lesser known members of the Vanilla genus. With over 100 different species, there is more to Vanilla than just the spice!

Doors open at 11:00 with a brief business meeting starting at 11:15 pm.
